New York Cares Soiree

All proceeds benefit New York Cares’ year-round volunteer programs.

7th Annual 2012 Peace Market Thursday

Peace Market benefitting Seeds of Peace is an event unlike any other in New York City, drawing over 1,200 influential young professionals, an impressive line-up of celebrities and notable dignitaries, and a significant media presence. Further, this year’s event will feature an open bar, food from the finest restaurants in NY, LIVE celebrity musical entertainment and the hottest DJs, a VIP reception sponsored by Moet et Chandon, and a live auction. It is sure to be a night that will not be forgotten as the Metropolitan Pavilion is transformed for one night as our guests are immersed in the tastes, sights, sounds, and smells of a Middle Eastern and South Asian marketplace. 

Art of Love

The ART of LOVE expects to bring together a 400-strong crowd including artists, art patrons, socialites and members of the young, philanthropic community. Cocktails and canapes will be served. Climax of the evening will be the live auction of eight pieces of spectacular artwork. New York Piano Society Benefit Concert at Carnegie Hall

The program is comprised of performances by the outstanding concert pianists of New York Piano Society, a non-profit organization of first rate pianists with careers in fields other than music. Among the artists are medical doctors, lawyers, engineers, mathematicians, archivists, librarians, pilots, and more. Repertoire will include works by Schubert, Mendelssohn, Donizetti, Liszt Chopin, and many others. Reception to follow the performance.

2nd Annual Valerie Fund Mardi Gras Gala

The Young Associates of the Valerie Fund invite you to join us at the Broad Street Ballroom for the 2nd annual Junior Board Gala. This Mardi Gras themed event promises to be a night of dancing and drinks, all for a great cause. In keeping with our Mardi Gras theme, the evening will begin with an authentic New Orleans performance by the Jambalaya Brass Band. 

Reach the World 12th Annual Benefit Dinner & Auction

The evening will include cocktails, silent auction, live auction, dinner and the presentation of the first-annual Cronkite Award for Excellence in Exploration and Journalism, in honor of former RTW Advisory Board Chairman Walter Cronkite. All proceeds from the event will support Reach the World’s global education and mentoring programs for disadvantaged youth.

A Society tradition that is considered the most high profile family event of the year, the Bunny Hop is a magical event for families and children of all ages. 2012 Gala Awards Dinner

The National Committee on American Foreign Policy  will host its annual 2012 Gala Awards Dinner, an elegant and significant affair, that will honor Former U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan, The Honorable Karl W. Eikenberry and Chairman of the Board and CEO of The Coca-Cola Company, Muhtar Kent. Scott Pelley, managing editor of the CBS Evening News and correspondent for 60 Minutes, will be leading the event as Master of Ceremonies. Proceeds from the evening will benefit the National Committee’s educational programs that address security challenges facing the United States.
